For Little One's actual birthday we took him to Red Robin for dinner, and then last night we had a little party for him. My parents came down from California and some friends of ours came up from across town, and we had fun. Here are a few pictures.

He looked from one card to the other, not sure what they were for.
His first present opened was a package of cars. He loves cars.
He was busy with the cars and so Baby Girl and her friend helped him with his next present: trains.
Well, he loved those, too. He went straight over to the table and added them to the ones he got for Christmas, and he played with them all night.
See. :) Their little friend was hiding, but he paid her no mind; he just played with his trains. He's such a boy.

His cake is cheesecake. He doesn't know how to blow out the candles yet, but by next year he'll have it down. Baby Girl and her friend helped him out again.
Baby Girl loves new books, and Grandma read this one to her about 3 times in a row.
Then she asked Grandpa to read it to her, which he did. Little One is chasing a car that rolled down the hall. I really need to get a better camera, or figure out better settings on the camera I have because there were way too many blurry pictures that night.
It was a good night, and the kids had fun. Little One is about as big as a 3-year-old and he's wearing 3T clothing. While he's still not really talking yet, he recognizes and can say his alphabet, and he babbles a lot and says what could be words. He's a very happy boy, and he's low-key and observant, and a very strong and physically active kid. He's also definitely left-handed; it's been apparent for 8 or 9 months now.
We love our sweet little boy and we're so glad he's part of our family.

It was our pleasure to be there for his birthday; we love those kids so much! It wasn't bad reading to Morgan, even if it was the same book about 4 times in a row. It got to where she memorized each page and so she "read" to me. It's fun (and easy) to make Jesse laugh too. Good times! Mom~

Thank you for posting all of the wonderful pictures! What beautiful children! Wish I could have been there for Jesse's birthday too, but I am glad that Susie and Scott got to party with you. Kids need grandparent time. :)
